Refund & Cancellation Policy

How trials, billing, cancellations, and refunds work — so there are no surprises on your statement.

This policy covers paid Lodestar subscriptions. Payments and refunds are handled by Lemon Squeezy as our Merchant of Record, so a charge on your statement may appear under their name.

1. Free trial

Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends. If you cancel before the trial is over, you won't be charged at all. The trial is the intended way to evaluate Lodestar risk-free before paying.

2. Subscriptions

After the trial, plans are billed monthly and renew automatically until you cancel. An active subscription is what keeps your agent surfaces live — if it lapses, your public surfaces and MCP server stop being served, but your account and content are retained so you can reactivate.

3. Cancelling

You can cancel anytime from Dashboard → Billing, which opens the customer portal. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the current paid period; after that it won't renew and your surfaces go offline. We don't lock you into long-term contracts.

4. Changing plans

You can upgrade or downgrade between Starter and Pro at any time. Plan changes are automatically prorated— you're credited or charged the difference for the remainder of your billing period, so you only pay for what you use.

5. Refunds

Because the free trial lets you evaluate everything before paying, we generally don't refund subscription periods that have already started. That said, we want you to be happy — if you were charged in error, experienced a serious problem, or were billed shortly after intending to cancel, contact us within [Founder to confirm refund window]of the charge and we'll review it in good faith. Approved refunds are issued through Lemon Squeezy to your original payment method.

6. How to request a refund

Email support@eastbase.studiofrom the address on your account, include the charge date, and tell us briefly what happened. We'll get back to you and, where a refund is due, process it through Lemon Squeezy.
