The small amount of storage Lodestar uses, and why. No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers selling your behavior.

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (like browser local storage) that Lodestar uses. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. Essential cookies
We use a small number of essential cookiesto run the app — chiefly to keep you securely signed in to your dashboard (authentication session cookies). These are required for the product to work and can't be turned off without breaking sign-in.
2. Analytics
When product analytics are enabled, we use PostHog to understand how the product is used so we can improve it. PostHog is loaded through our own domain (reverse-proxied) and may set cookies or use local storage to recognize a returning session. We use this for aggregate product insight, not to build advertising profiles. If analytics are not configured for an environment, these are not set.
3. What we don't use
We don't use advertising cookies, cross-site ad trackers, or sell your browsing behavior to third parties.
4. Managing cookies
You can control or clear cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from staying signed in. Most browsers also offer a “Do Not Track” signal and per-site storage controls.
